Chart Reading and Writing
Written instructions and charts both tell you how to knit a stitch pattern.
But a good chart will also show you "The Big Picture," and let you know what
the resulting fabric will look like. This makes it easier to keep track
of your knitting, and minimize errors.
In this class, we'll go over the basic "rules" for reading charts...
and trickier concepts like "no stitch" symbols.
You'll get tips for working with charts, and practice in writing charts.
By the end of class, charts will be a gateway into a new world of knitting.
